That seems like Leadership 101, but in a changing landscape (and isn't it ALWAYS changing?) organizational development often takes a backseat to day-to-day activities. Then, at the end of the year when key benchmarks aren't met we wonder, "What happened?" Looking back, we see missed opportunities, bad hires, inefficient systems, miscommunication and a host of other issues that caused a lot of "busy-ness" but not results.
That's where good organizational development comes in...
I'm Linda Maisch and in 30 years of managing organizations, there's not much I haven't seen! I've led finance, fundraising, marketing, customer service and public relations teams during 911, Covid, multiple economic downturns and major funding losses.
I've also worked with organizations to scale up, increase revenue and build their programs! Long-term success begins and ends with a good strategy and the right people in the right places...all working at their full potential.
My passion for helping organizations reach their full potential led to The LMD Group. I know first-hand that the day-to-day tasks leading an organization can be all-consuming. However, I know the critical role strong organizational development plays in long-term growth and stability. Without someone dedicated to key strategic functions, they can quickly lag. That's where I can help.
Most organizations can't afford, and likely don't NEED, an organizational development specialist full-time. I can work with you to assess your needs, track progress and help mobilize resources to reach your goals. Whether you need some short-term help or a longer commitment, we can find an option that works for you.
Once we have a plan in place, I've assembled a network of colleagues at different price points who can provide additional support as needed in HR, finance, law, etc. We can serve on an interim basis or as fractional executives providing you years of expertise...without the overhead!
